Pheasant Stir Fry
My dad went pheasant hunting which means I get to cook! This was my first time making something with pheasant but it’s like chicken – right?
I made a stir fry and it was tasty. Even my sister ate a lot of it.
Here is the recipe I used:
Pheasant meat sliced – around a pound based on how many are eating
sliced red pepper
sliced yellow pepper
1/2 cup julienned carrots
1 cup of broccoli chopped into sizes you like
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
Enough rice for your family
Heat the oil in a pan. Crack the eggs in the pan and break the yolks. Cook until they are set.
Then set the egg aside.
Use the warm pan to cook the pheasant until its browned and cooked through.
Add onions and cook until they are tender. Add in peppers and carrots and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Finish by adding in the rest of the ingredients. and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Optional additions: cauliflower, zucchini, snap peas.
